Lolita - summary
Humbert is an unreliable narrator but the facts he gives and the things Lolita says hint at much darker treatment than he normally presents. I have a young daughter and found some passages very upsetting. But the book is a triumph of artistic skill. I shall be reading more Nabokov, for sure.
